David Giwerc, MCC



David Giwerc is a Master Certified Coach, MCC, with the International Coach Federation (ICF) and is also an ICF assessor conducting PCC and/or MCC credentialing exams. He is the Founder/President of the ADD Coach Academy, ADDCA, (founded 1998) the world's largest and most respected ADHD coach training program.

The Academy's advanced PACG (The Professional ADD Coach Graduate) is the only ADHD Coach training program that is ICF approved for the coveted ACSTH (Approved Certified Specific Training Hours) designation. David has been training ADHD coaches, around the world, for over ten years, while also running a busy coaching practice dedicated to entrepreneurs with ADHD.

Giwerc is a past president of the Attention Deficit Disorder Association (ADDA), the world's leading adult ADHD organization (December 2003- June, 2006) where he continues to serve on the executive committee in a variety of key strategic ADDA roles.

He was also a key catalyst for ADDA's United States Senate resolution that was unanimously approved by the U.S. Senate on July 6, 2004. The resolution declared September 7, 2004, national AD/HD awareness day and has been instituted every year since its inception.

Giwerc is also a Professional Advisory Board member for The American Professional Society of ADHD and Related Disorders, APSARD, an international medical and mental-health related society of professionals committed to improving the recognition and treatment of ADHD and related disorders, particularly in adults.

He has had published articles for CHADD, ADDA and both he and the ADD Coach Academy have been featured in the New York Times, New York Times magazine, Fortune, Inc. Magazine, ADDitude a magazine, Attention and other well-known periodicals.

Ira Dressner

ICF Liaison for PAAC

 

Ira Dressner, Ph.D., PCC, ACG



Ira Dressner Ph.D, PCC, ACG, is both an ADHD coach and a Spiritual Coach. He works to reduce and remove pain from his clients. He works with physical pain, pain of the heart and emotional pain. In 2008 he unveiled his new coaching: Brain Energy Integration (www.brainenergyintegration.com). BEI is a method of removing and integrating situations such as stress and anxiety, migraine headaches, lower back pain, brain fogginess, aspects of ADHD,and arthritis among other situation. Dressner assists in taking away the situations and then shows and instructs the client how to mitigate the triggers and live virtually pain free.

He leads trainings showing how coaches can work with pain management and the elimination of all sorts of pain by using subtle energy fields. The tools he has employed in the past five years are the crystal/Tibetan bowls, didgeridoo, tincha, and the gong. Ira's strengths lie in helping people gain perspective and clarity about their lives, so that all the parts of the person he works with fit together. Spiritual Coaching accesses and channels to the living library of life. Those people who want to increase their spiritual connection often work with Ira. Ira earned both a Masters (MPA) and Doctorate Degree (Ph.D.) in Public Administration from the Maxwell School at Syracuse University. Later, he decided to become a psychotherapist and graduated with an MSW from NYU School of Social Work. Ira went on to perfect his capabilities as a therapist by graduating from Washington Square Institute with a Certificate in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy. He specializes in working with people who have undergone trauma utilizing a therapeutic technique: EMDR.

In late 1997, Ira became interested in finding out more about coaching. After enrolling at an accredited coaching program in early 1998, he graduated in January 2002 and received his ACC credential in 2004 and PCC in 2007. He also graduated from the ADD Coach Academy.

From founding the NYC chapter in 1999, to being a Regional Leader, to becoming the Chapter Outreach Coordinator from 2003 to 2006, Ira has spent time, effort, and love in building up the ICF infrastructure. In 2006 -2009 he served a three year term on the Board and was re-nominated and elected to serve from 2009-the end of 2011.

Ira was assigned by the ICF Global Board to be the liaison to PAAC. He is committed to the coaching professional and in particular to the niche coaching market of ADHD and to making sure that coaches who claim to be ADHD coaches are trained and credentialed properly.
